My feelings are that, in general, patients are looking for a more patient-centered approach instead of symptom-centered. Treatment given must integrate otherwise the body may reject it easily. This is especially the case with manual treatment (it could be other than osteopathy). But also, by combining different approaches, like osteopathic manual treatment with bioelectrical medicine (like the non invasive brain neuromodulation) or other form of different treatment (like using additional acupuncture or naturopathy), we could target more deeply and efficiently the body ssytems to be targeted. Of course every person is unique so the best global treatment must be tailored to fulfill the body needs.
